Arbor at Avamere Court

The Arbor at Avamere Court is a Memory Care Building owned and operated by Avamere Health Services.  This is a single-story building, that has a footprint of 28,000 square feet.  Inside we have built 48 private rooms with private bathrooms, a commercial kitchen, two satellite kitchens two activity rooms, two self-enclosed courtyards, a state of the art Nurse-Call system with CCTV, and security and door controls. It is considered to be a Residential Care Facility specializing in serving a population with Memory issues and was completed in September 2014 in Keizer, Oregon.

This project was phased, meaning that Meili Construction performed the site work for the building before the plans were complete so we could avoid added cost for wet weather site construction. We then installed the under-slab utilities and poured the slab while the rest of the building was going through the permit and plan review process with the county. Once the building permit was issued we were able to immediately begin framing walls. This all took additional effort to manage the multiple phases, but the result was maximum efficiency for the client and keeping costs to a minimum.
