Bascom Village Phase II

Bascom Village Phase II is a 48-unit affordable family housing located in Eugene, Oregon. Phase II completes a development of 101 units for working families. Building types include one, two, and three bedroom units, in two and three story, multi-unit buildings. 8 units are set aside for homeless veterans and their families. A community center provides space for offices and meeting areas.
Challenges include limited area around the site for construction staging and acoustic mitigation due to high traffic roadway nearby. This project received an Earth Advantage Certificate. Sustainable features include Energy Star rated appliances, lighting and windows; low VOC paints, finishes, sealants, and adhesives; low-flow water fixtures and energy efficient heat pump water heaters.
